MEET CONNIE JO ESBENSON
I’m a Florida Certified Residential Appraiser (Cert Res RD8779) with more than two decades of residential appraisal experience.
I believe an appraisal should do more than deliver a number. It should help you understand the property, the market evidence, and the reasoning behind the conclusion—especially when the decision in front of you is personal, time-sensitive, or legally important.
A CAREER IN RESIDENTIAL VALUATION
Over the years, I have worked with homeowners, attorneys, trustees, executors, financial professionals, and clients navigating property decisions. Assignments have included traditional homes, condominiums, manufactured homes, land, acreage, waterfront influence, unusual improvements, and properties that require more careful comparable analysis.
That experience matters because two assignments involving similar houses may still require very different research. An estate may need a historical value. A divorce may require a carefully defined effective date and independent analysis. A private sale may need a neutral reference point before negotiations begin. I start by understanding the question so the appraisal is developed for the right purpose.
